Job summary

AMADA AMERICA, INC. is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems. The role involves following layout drawings for installation and preparing daily service reports.

You will train customers on software and participate in line control programming using Amada applications. Regular travel within Reno, NV; Sacramento to Bay Area regions is required, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary.

Qualifications

• A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proven ability to work with a range of test equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems and networks.
• Follow layout drawings and blue prints for equipment installation.
• Submit daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Manage installation processes at customer sites, including use of hand tools and climbing.
• Provide training on operation software and part programming to customers.
• Use Amada applications software for line control and programming.
• Travel regularly within assigned territories.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
