Job summary

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, is seeking a capable machinist to cut, shape, and form parts to customer specifications. The role operates on a 4:00pm to 2:30am schedule, Monday through Thursday and alternating Fridays, with a $23.75 per hour base and shift differential.

A strong emphasis is on safety, quality, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to read schematics, and demonstrate precision, reliability, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Organizational skills, precision, orderliness and neatness are essential.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Willingness to take on responsibilities and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Operate drill presses, lathes, mills, laser and other machine shop equipment.
• Read and interpret product schematics and assembly instructions.
• Verify dimensions and product specifications; ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Adhere to quality control standards and safety guidelines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and changeovers as needed.
• Work overtime as required and be a team player.
