Job summary

Premier PV is seeking an entry-level Production Machine Operator to run laser cutting equipment and set up cutting programs and fixtures. You will ensure parts meet quality standards and support workflow on the shop floor while maintaining safety and process discipline.

The role includes basic maintenance, material defect identification, and assisting with tasks to meet production goals. A high school diploma or GED is acceptable, with 1–2 years of manufacturing/lase­r operation preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of laser operator experience preferred.
• Prior training in safety, ESD awareness, FO damage awareness, and quality system awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical laser cutting operations.
• Select proper cutting programs and fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location and adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• May perform additional tasks to meet production goals.
