Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Machine Operator to run the Trumpf laser cutting machine and manage material handling on a 6:30 am to 3:00 pm schedule. You will work with a team, ensure production standards, and participate in maintenance logging.

This in-person role requires hands-on skill and reliability. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years operating machines, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience operating machines.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools and instruments.
• Able to organize tasks for completion alone or with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Trumpf laser cutting machine.
• Lift and handle steel plates using overhead crane, clamps, and magnets.
• Label and organize parts to meet production standards.
• Maintain equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs.
