Job summary

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years for BS; advanced degrees require no experience in laser applications, but laser/optics knowledge is required.
• Experience with lasers, optics or material processing in a lab environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new laser-based applications and related solutions for the material processing market.
• Provide technical sales support to assess applications of company products for customer needs, including travel.
• Deliver technical report documentation of lab and product management activities.
• Assist sales on pre-sale or post-sale application problems in the lab or on site.
• Train customers on equipment and applications in lab or on site.
• Travel 10-20% is expected.
