Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking motivated participants for its Automation Development Program in Las Vegas, NV, starting May/June 2027. The program trains Maintenance Technicians to become automation specialists for high-speed bottling lines.

Participants will learn through a blend of classroom training and on-the-job practice, supporting automation projects, reading blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance while adhering to safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

2 years – experience in maintenance or similar manufacturing environment.
4 years – experience in maintenance or similar manufacturing environment (preferred)
Ability to understand and do math.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Attention to detail and organized.
Ability to read blueprints & schematics.
Stand, sit, squat or reach up to 12 hours per day as required by the specific job.
Great attendance and team player.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Shadow and learn from PLC Sr. Maintenance Technicians and Automation Engineers groups.
Assist with automation projects.
Assist with downed equipment repair during the production shift as needed.
Assist with crisis downtime situations.
Research and documentation using a computer.
Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant.
Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility.
Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.
Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of learning objectives for each activity.
Work safely and follow written procedures.
