Job summary

Emerson is seeking a manufacturing associate in Marshalltown, IA, to perform CNC-related tasks while prioritizing safety and quality. The role involves maintaining 5S standards, ensuring conformity with work instructions, and producing quality parts.

Daily tasks include equipment maintenance, testing, and proper documentation. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be physically capable of standing for long periods, and be able to read technical specifications.

• Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
• Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to make-to-order.
• Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.
