Job summary

CNH Industrial Group in Goodfield, Illinois, invites enrolled students to join our Engineering & Technical Co-op. The role is on-site, full-time during spring and summer, offering hands-on testing of prototype machines and collaboration with the Innovation Group.

You will work with engineers on design validation, field testing, data collection, and agronomy trials, traveling to CNH facilities as needed. Housing support is provided under the program.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree.

Responsibilities

• Preparing prototype machines for field testing - installing prototype components, making parts, equipment maintenance, changing equipment configurations, etc.
• Work with project team on experimental designs to test and validate concepts being developed
• Operate prototype test machines in the field - executing on field test plans and validating concepts
• Reviewing field test results and ideating on concept development with project teams
• Work with Agronomy team to support agronomy trials (operate test machines, data collection, data analysis, etc.)
• Travel as needed to other CNH facilities and remote test sites to support test preparation and execution
• Participate and provide input into meetings where Innovation provides updates to product platforms and other internal teams

Key Responsibilities

Will be working with engineers in the Innovation group on the construction, testing and evaluation of Innovation concepts. Goodfield is where a large portion of our test machines (tractors, planters, tillage, etc.) for the Large Tractor & Crop Production Operations Innovation Group. Primary tasks will be related to:

• Preparing prototype machines for field testing - installing prototype components, making parts, equipment maintenance, changing equipment configurations, etc.
• Work with project team on experimental designs to test and validate concepts being developed
• Operate prototype test machines in the field - executing on field test plans and validating concepts
• Reviewing field test results and ideating on concept development with project teams
• Work with Agronomy team to support agronomy trials (operate test machines, data collection, data anlysis, etc.)
• Travel as needed to other CNH facilities and remote test sites to support test preparation and execution
• Participate and provide input into meetings where Innovation provides updates to product platforms and other internal teams

Experience Required

Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Pay Transparency

The houlry pay for this role is USD $23.69 - $25.75 plus any applicable bonus (Actual hourly pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
