Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Project Head to lead the Large Scale mAbs program in Swiftwater, PA or Framingham, MA. You will drive setup, enabling works, permitting, and constructability reviews through BOD, DD, construction, commissioning and handover.

You will coordinate global engineering activities, ensure safety and quality, and manage CapEx and COGs to achieve optimal efficiency while integrating the new facility within the legacy site and coordinating with site

Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Biotechnology.
  • 10+ years in Project Management for large-scale pharma projects (>€1B).
  • 10+ years leading large teams (>100 people).
  • Broad industrial pharma experience; multi-site operations.
  • Experience in global projects and matrix management.
  • Thorough knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Results-driven with strong decision-making in fast environments.
  • Intercultural experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the project team for facility setup and qualification.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory commitments are met to high standards.
  • Oversee Engineering, Automation, Maintenance and C&Q activities.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget project execution and risk mitigation.
  • Identify, track, and report project risks with mitigation plans.
  • Ensure building compliance with SPE performance targets.
  • Develop staffing and training plans for manufacturing ramp-up.
  • Support workforce planning and integration with legacy site.
  • Provide manufacturing schedule to support project execution and ramp-up.
  • Collaborate with MSAT to optimize process definitions and costs.
