Job Description

A day in the life of a Large Loss Field Property Adjuster:

You will provide exceptional service by traveling to customer homes for on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims efficiently. You will also manage virtual claims nationwide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, with a focus on water losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, clear, and empowering customer service, embodying Allstate’s Claims Culture.
• Investigate property claims independently, analyzing damages and policy coverage.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and video chats, keeping customers informed.
• Negotiate claim settlements professionally with customers, vendors, and third parties.
• Utilize tools and platforms for efficient claim processing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of outside adjuster experience.
• Experience handling high-value claims with multiple trades.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and estimating software.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel and handle virtual claims nationwide.

Requirements

• Residency within the posted location.
• Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs up to a 6/12 pitch.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Training & Licensing

• Comprehensive training program, including 2 weeks in Wheeling, IL.
• Licensing may be required within 60 days, with support from the company.

Compensation
