Restoration 1 of Beaumont is seeking a skilled Large Loss & Remodel Estimator to join our team in Beaumont, CA. You will prepare detailed estimates for large loss restoration and remodel projects, conduct on-site inspections, and collaborate with insurers and contractors to ensure accurate, fair settlements.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Xactimate and Symbility, read blueprints, and manage client communications throughout the rebuild process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for large loss restoration and remodel projects using Xactimate.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage scope and repair needs.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, PMs, and contractors for accuracy.
• Develop scope-of-work documents for water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects.
• Negotiate and manage estimates with insurance carriers.
• Monitor budgets and update estimates as scopes evolve.
• Maintain clear client communication throughout estimation and rebuild.

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for large loss restoration and remodel projects using industry-standard estimating software (Xactimate)
• Conduct thorough on-site inspections to assess scope of damage and determine repair requirements
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, project managers, and contractors to ensure estimate accuracy and project alignment
• Develop and present comprehensive scope-of-work documents for water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects
• Manage and negotiate estimates with insurance carriers to ensure fair and complete settlements
• Monitor project budgets and provide updated estimates as project scopes evolve
• Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the estimation and rebuild process

Requirements:

• Proven experience in restoration estimating, construction estimating.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility
• Strong knowledge of large loss restoration, remodeling, and construction practices
• Experience working with insurance claims and understanding of the claims process
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
