Job summary

Redmax Events in New York is building the print department to handle large-format work for major sporting events, trade shows, and brand experiences. You will turn client ideas into print-ready outputs, coordinating file prep, layouts, and production specs across multiple printers and finishing equipment.

This role blends technical precision with creative problem-solving, ensuring clean handoffs, rapid turnarounds, and high-quality results as events demand excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Colex Sharpcut CNC experience and operation.
• Real pre-press production and digital print setup experience.
• Ability to translate supplied files into print-ready pieces: scale, resolution, cut paths.

Responsibilities

• Set up layouts, registration marks, cut lines, bleeds, scale, print specs, templates, and installation guides.
• Review client files for accuracy to reduce reprints and errors.
• Coordinate with design, production, and fabrication when priorities shift.
• Move between digital production and hands-on fabrication for custom jobs.
• Monitor quality and machine performance to catch issues early.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Help build SOPs for file handling and handoffs to ensure repeatability.
• Support turning client ideas into finished outputs.
