Job summary

Hatteras in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking a skilled Large Format Printing Press Operator to join our team. You will print high-quality graphics on state-of-the-art presses and help maintain production flow.

Responsibilities include operating Vutek or Durst presses, performing routine maintenance, meeting production schedules, and ensuring quality with rigorous checks. A High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience are required; self-motivated candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in large format printing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vutek and/or Durst large format presses to produce high-quality graphics.
• Perform daily shift and weekly maintenance and log maintenance in the logs.
• Meet or beat budgeted hours according to schedule.
• Read and follow job instructions and work orders accurately.
• Conduct quality control checks and RIP jobs as needed.

SUMMARY

The primary role is to print high-quality graphics on state-of-the-art presses. The large format team is an integral part of Hatteras' overall business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have experience running Vutek and/or Durst Large Format printing presses
• Follow and perform daily shift and weekly maintenance to press’s, log all maintenance in the maintenance logs
• Follow posted schedule and meet or beat budgeted assigned hours
• Full understating of rigid and roll substates
• Read, follow and execute job as per the work instructions
• Follow all procedure and perform the appropriate quality control checks
• Ability to RIP jobs for printing
• Knowledge of finishing equipment and skills are a bonus but not a necessity
• Communicate effectively with and understand what needs to be completed each night

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience
