Hatteras Press Inc, located in New Jersey, seeks a skilled Large Format Print Operator to produce high-quality graphics on state-of-the-art presses. The role is integral to our large format team and fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vutek and/or Durst Large Format printers.
• Follow and perform daily shift and weekly maintenance to presses, log all maintenance in logs.
• Follow posted schedule and meet or beat budgeted assigned hours.
• Full understanding of rigid and roll substrates.
• Read, follow and execute jobs per the work instructions.
• Follow procedures and perform the appropriate quality control checks.
• Ability to RIP jobs for printing.
• Knowledge of finishing equipment is a bonus.
• Communicate effectively with team to determine nightly tasks.

SUMMARY

The primary role is to print high-quality graphics on state-of-the-art presses. The large format team is an integral part of Hatteras' overall business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have experience running Vutek and/or Durst Large Format printing presses
• Follow and perform daily shift and weekly maintenance to press's, log all maintenance in the maintenance logs
• Follow posted schedule and meet or beat budgeted assigned hours
• Full understating of rigid and roll substates
• Read, follow and execute job as per the work instructions
• Follow all procedure and perform the appropriate quality control checks
• Ability to RIP jobs for printing
• Knowledge of finishing equipment and skills are a bonus but not a necessity
• Communicate effectively with and understand what needs to be completed each night
