Large Format Digital Print Supervisor (2nd shift)
Manchester, CT

Job Summary:

The Large Format Digital Print Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the print production team, ensuring efficient and high-quality printing of various materials by supervising staff, monitoring equipment, and maintaining quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assign and delegate print jobs to operators based on workload and skillset.
• Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and identify potential delays.
• Perform first-piece inspection on all print jobs and oversee end product meets quality standards by inspecting work and evaluating output to make adjustments to obtain customer specifications.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the print process to maintain consistent quality standards and coordinate preventive maintenance as necessary.
• Provide mentorship and development opportunities for staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols and proper handling of print equipment, raw materials, and finished goods.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in operating large format machinery and finishing equipment.
• Skills knowledge of administrative procedures and practices to include effective written and oral communication, organization, and ability to coordinate and monitor the work of others.
• Ability to interpretjob bag, safety rules, operating, and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
• Maintain and safely use all large/web format finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting, sewing, laminating, and or packaging when necessary.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 3-6 years' experienceindustry operator experience in large format printing.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and supervise staff.
• Proficient in the operation of MAC, PC, Windows, Microsoft office, RIP software andPre-production File Prep.

Physical Requirements: Standing- 80%, Walking-20%
