Job summary

PIP Printing in Indiana is seeking a Digital Press & Large Format Operator to join our production team. You will learn to operate both digital presses and large-format equipment, with on-the-job training and a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes learning through hands-on practice, teamwork, and contributing to high-quality print projects for signage and visuals.

Qualifications

• Print experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and operate digital presses and large-format equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read job tickets and select the correct media/substrates.
• Prepare substrates for printing and finishing (cutting, cleaning, laminating).
• Program and operate large-format printing/finishing equipment (including Colex cutter).
• Perform laminating, mounting, encapsulating, and cutting.
• Monitor print quality and ensure specs are met.
• Maintain media/substrates inventory and shop cleanliness.
• Work with production team to move jobs efficiently.
