Job summary

PADNOS is seeking a Large Equipment Operator to safely operate switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles to support yard operations. You will move, load, and prep materials, maintain records, and ensure safety.

A valid driver’s license is required. This role requires a Monday-Friday schedule with potential weekend work, aligning with a 6:00am–5:00pm shift at our yard. The position emphasizes safe work practices, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience operating large equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks or railcars and move materials to designated areas.
• Maintain basic production, inventory, shipment, and equipment maintenance records as required.
• Identify and distinguish between different grades and types of materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads and assist with material grading when applicable.
• Assist with hand-sorting materials as needed to support yard operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Our Large Equipment Operator are responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles. This role supports daily yard operations by moving, loading, and preparing materials as needed. The Equipment Operator is expected to actively demonstrate and support PADNOS company values while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, Weekend as needed. 6:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
