Emerson is seeking an experienced manual lathe operator to set up and run engine lathes, adjust tooling, and inspect parts per blueprints. The role emphasizes safety, lean practices, and adherence to ISO procedures in a busy shop environment.
The candidate will perform routine maintenance, participate in quality inspections, and train others to operate the machinery, ensuring timely production and compliance with cycle times.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience operating a manual engine lathe
Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and/or verbal work instructions.
Ability to recognize, set up, and effectively uses general measuring instruments.
Ability to comprehend and utilize ISO manufacturing procedures.
Ability to perform basic computer operations and mathematical computation.
Ability to move or transfer products with overhead crane.
Flexibility regarding job assignments.
Ability to lift 30 pounds, if required.
