University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for the ECC Fellow Program FY28. The program focuses on large animal emergency and critical care training within a busy teaching hospital.

Ideal candidates will hold a DVM or equivalent, be eligible for Georgia veterinary licensure, and pursue board certification (ACVS/ACVIM) or have completed specialty training. The residency extends to fellowship with mentorship by leading clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
• Eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Georgia.
• Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or board eligible for fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Large Animal Emergency Critical Care Service of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
• Participate in clinical teaching of veterinary students, interns, and residents.
• Complete at least one original manuscript during the program.
