Job summary

The University of Georgia is inviting applications for the ECC Residency Program for FY28 in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital's Large Animal Service. The resident will diagnose and treat cases daily under faculty supervision, and support teaching activities for veterinary students.

Candidate must hold a DVM or equivalent with an internship, obtain and maintain a GA license, and demonstrate motivation to work in a busy, high-volume hospital environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree with internship completed.
• Must obtain and maintain GA veterinary license.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with faculty and staff.
• Demonstrated motivation to work in a busy large animal teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ECC service and diagnose/treat cases daily under faculty supervision.
• Assist in instruction and supervision of veterinary students, including case rounds.
• Provide service and consultation to clients and referring veterinarians.
