Job summary

Colorado State University’s Department of Clinical Sciences invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position in Large Animal Emergency and Critical Care. The candidate will teach DVM students and mentor residents, develop curricula, and pursue externally funded research.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Diplomate of ACVS or ACVECC with evidence of surgical experience.
• 5 years of experience at the Assistant Professor rank or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels, including ECC rotations.
• Develop curriculum and provide hands-on clinical instruction; supervise residents.
• Conduct and publish research; pursue external funding and mentor trainees.
• Provide 18–26 weeks of clinical service annually in CSU hospitals.
