Job summary

CSAT Solutions is seeking a Computer Repair Technician in Houston to diagnose issues, disassemble units for inspection, and perform repairs using hand and power tools. You will install software, configure equipment, and verify functioning against customer reports.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer familiarity, and at least 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience with laptop or technology components, plus good English and time management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic familiarity with computer use.
Intermediate English abilities required.
1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptop, computer and/or technology component repair.
Experience using hand power tools.
Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.
Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Reviews customers’ complaints to determine details of unit problems.
Disassembles units to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices.
Conducts diagnosis of problems according to customers’ complaints.
Repairs units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices.
Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment as required.
Reinstalls software programs or adjust settings on existing software to fix machine malfunctions.
Lears and uses new processes and procedures.
Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
