Job summary

• Verify correct materials, quantities and production requirements per work order instructions.

• Meet production quality and quantity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed lapping and polishing operations to meet customer specifications
• Verify conformance of work in process and finished work against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calibers, drop indicators, interferometers
• Read and interpret drawings or work from process travelers

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
