Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a dynamic clinical sales professional to advance minimally invasive surgery through laparoscopic instrumentation. The role focuses on OR environments, consultative relationships with surgical teams, and high-impact product launches.

The successful candidate will train clinicians, manage complex sales cycles with value analysis committees, and drive national accounts across General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and Bariatrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or clinical background preferred.
  • 2+ years of medical device or surgical sales experience.
  • Experience selling into hospital and surgical environments.
  • Strong understanding of OR protocols and sterile field standards.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute product trials, evaluations, and conversions within hospital systems.
  • Deliver hands-on training and in-services tailored to surgeons, OR nurses, and tech staff.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving value analysis committees and clinical decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple specialties including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and Bariatrics.
  • Track pipeline activity, account progress, and forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support national accounts and large health systems.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or clinical background preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air as needed
Must Haves:

Preferred Background & Skills:
  • Experience with laparoscopic surgical products
  • Prior operating room experience (clinical or sales support)
  • Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate with surgeons at a high level
  • Experience navigating IDNs and large hospital systems
  • Highly self-motivated with strong territory management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical product details
  • Comfortable presenting to both small clinical groups and large audiences
