Job summary

INEOS Oligomers is seeking a Process Operator at the Chocolate Bayou facility in Alvin, TX. You will be responsible for safe and reliable operation of the LAO/PAO production units, working with Shift Supervisors and the Operations team to maintain product quality and environmental standards.

This role requires hands-on operation of complex plant systems, routine sampling, data logging, and participation in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must understand process safety and operate with discipline.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make quick, sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate DCS systems, HMIs, reactors, and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient LAO/PAO production.
• Collect samples and document process readings; maintain logs and perform start-ups/shutdowns per procedures.
• Lead safety inspections and comply with INEOS Safe Work Practices during daily operations.
