Lanier Technical College – Hall campus in Gainesville, GA is hiring two full-time Custodian positions. Work schedule is 2pm–12 midnight, Monday through Thursday (four 10-hour days). Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, moving furniture, and preparing spaces for events.

A background and reference check are required as part of the selection process. Minimum qualifications include ability to follow written and oral instructions, previous cleaning experience, and basic computer skills.

Workweek schedule is 40 hours: 2pm – 12midnight Monday through Thursday – 4 10-hour days. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Complete cleaning of assigned areas, to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.; move tables and chairs; and set-up for different campus functions. Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor. Work is performed primarily indoors and exposed to dust, dirt, grease, irritating chemicals, and cleaning machinery. Work requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, crouching, lifting light and heavy objects, and using tools and equipment and require dexterity.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, crouching, climbing, and lifting light and heavy objects.
