Job summary

Tutor Me Education offers 1:1 and small group virtual reading and language tutoring across the United States. Join a fully remote team and design your schedule around your life while delivering engaging, personalized instruction.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree, experience with diverse learners, and strong virtual teaching skills. A reliable setup and ability to pass a background check are needed. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

• Strong virtual instruction skills - comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's reading level, literacy goals, and unique learning profile.
• Create structured lesson plans focused on core literacy components (e.g., phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, or essay writing) that align with grade-level standards and student needs.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension building blocks to foster confidence and a love for reading.
• Track student progress and communicate with families and school district partners regarding reading growth and milestones.

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instructiontailored to each student's reading level, literacy goals, and unique learning profile.
• Create structured lesson plansfocused on core literacy components (such as phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, or essay writing) that align with grade-level standards and student needs.
• Adapt instruction in real timebased on student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension building blocks to foster confidence and a love for reading.
• Track student progressand communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners regarding reading growth and language milestones.
