Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Coordinator of Translation and Interpretation Services to oversee planning, coordination, QA, and delivery of language access services for district programs and families whose primary language is not English.

The role reports to the Director of Bilingual Programs and Supports, manages language services vendors, ensures compliance with federal/state requirements, and maintains records for program monitoring. Grant-funded position contingent on funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Advanced bilingual and biliterate proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience coordinating translation/interpretation services in complex organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate translation and interpretation services for students, families, campuses, departments, and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor systems for tracking requests and service delivery.
• Review translated materials for accuracy and consistency with district standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and scheduling of interpretation for events and meetings.
