Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Coordinator of Translation and Interpretation Services to oversee planning, quality assurance, and delivery of language services for students, families, and staff whose primary language is not English.

You will manage translation and interpretation systems, coordinate providers, maintain records, produce reports, and ensure timely, accurate, and culturally responsive materials and interpretations across district programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of translation/interpretation or language access experience.
• Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience coordinating translation/interpretation services in complex organizations.
• Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines in a customer service oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, quality assurance and delivery of translation and interpretation services.
• Coordinate internal and external language service providers and contract vendors.
• Maintain records of language qualifications and service logs; produce reports for program monitoring and compliance.
• Schedule interpretation for district meetings, events and community activities.
• Support family engagement by ensuring multilingual access to communications and services.
• Identify, recruit, train and maintain a pool of translators and interpreters.
