Job summary

Opus Inspection, Inc is hiring a Lane Inspector at our Milwaukee, WI location. You will perform vehicle emissions testing, enter and verify vehicle data, process renewals, direct traffic, provide test results, and collect inspection fees. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a Tuesday–Saturday shift (10a–6p). Must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to stand and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and balance for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform emission inspection functions following established procedures and verify vehicle information.
• Process registration renewals.
• Direct motorists in and out of the station, provide test results, and collect inspection fees.
• Notify customers on next steps in the inspections process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10a-6p. (40 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lane Inspector -- Vehicle Emissions testing. Play an important role in limiting the production of Emissions by identifying the polluting vehicles. As a lane inspector YOU will be responsible for the following:

• Perform emission inspection functions following established procedures, enter and verify vehicle information with computer data.
• Process registration renewals
• Direct motorists in and out of the station, provide test results, instruct customers on next steps in the inspections process, collect inspection fees.
• Other job duties as assigned.

NO Experience required; We will train you!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and balance for extended periods of time

Physically able to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis.
