Job summary

Dillard's Corporate office in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Landscaping Maintenance Technician to maintain the grounds of the corporate campus. This full-time, on-site role is based at 1600 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72201 with hours 7:00 AM-5:00 PM; flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, mulching, lawn care, litter removal, and applying fertilizers or herbicides as needed. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with mowing, pruning, mulching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow and edge lawns with power mowers and edgers.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with shears.
• Care for flower beds by fertilizing, mulching, and replanting.
• Maintain lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, and trimming around beds, walks, and walls.
• Gather and remove litter from grounds.
• Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as directed.
• Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots and spread salt.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears or pruners
• Care for established flower beds by fertilizing, laying new mulch, and replanting
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
• Gather and remove litter
• Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders
• Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas.
