Job summary

Confidential Michigan landscape firm is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to lead the production and design/build teams. You will schedule, oversee crews, coordinate subcontractors, and apply LMN for costing and efficiency; compensation ranges $95,000–$110,000 and includes health insurance and PTO.

The role focuses on delivering complex outdoor environments for high-end residential clients, building strong teams, and driving operational excellence within a growing company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of landscape or construction project management experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing a production division.
  • Strong understanding of high-end residential landscape design/build processes or similar construction environments.
  • Basic knowledge of plant material and procurement terminology.
  • Proven experience managing multiple crews and subcontractor teams simultaneously.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Landscape Production Division, including project scheduling, execution, and completion of all construction and design/build projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex landscape construction projects.
  • Utilize LMN to track job costing, production efficiency, and data-driven decision making.
  • Manage and coordinate internal crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and project timelines are met.
  • Oversee subcontractor services for maintenance clients including irrigation, lawn care, and plant care.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure projects meet company standards and client expectations.

Requirements for the Landscape Project Manager:

  • Basic knowledge of plant material and procurement terminology.
  • Proven experience managing multiple crews and subcontractor teams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
