Landscape Specialist – Irrigation (Hotel)
As a Landscape Specialist - Irrigation, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the Resort’s extensive irrigation systems across hotel, club, and residential properties. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, programming, and optimizing irrigation infrastructure to support healthy landscapes, sustainable water management practices, and the exceptional standards our guests and homeowners expect.
This position is ideal for an irrigation professional who enjoys hands‑on work, problem solving, and contributing to the beauty and functionality of one of Hawaii’s premier luxury resorts.
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems throughout the resort property.
Install and repair mainlines, lateral lines, valves, manifolds, sprinkler heads, and drip irrigation systems.
Program, monitor, and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and related automation systems.
Utilize specialized equipment, including wire locators and diagnostic tools, to identify and resolve irrigation issues.
Support water conservation initiatives by optimizing irrigation performance and efficiency.
Monitor system installations and repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Maintain inventory of irrigation components and supplies.
Complete work orders, documentation, and preventative maintenance records accurately.
Safely operate department vehicles, equipment, and tools while maintaining a safe work environment.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of landscape irrigation experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial and residential irrigation systems.
Experience with irrigation controllers, valves, hydraulics, and system diagnostics.
Ability to read irrigation plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience with trenching, pipe fitting, manifold construction, and PVC repairs.
Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork and guest service excellence.
Hourly Rate: $27.80
