Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Description

At BrightView, we build and maintain the best teams. We are seeking a Crew Leader for our Portage Branch to lead a team while servicing sites throughout Portage/Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. This is not an entry-level position; candidates must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as a Landscaping Crew Leader/Foreman. Candidates with MDARD licenses and Hardscapes experience will be prioritized.

Starting pay is $17 per hour and may increase based on experience and certifications/licenses.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement or License (preferred; willing to obtain one)
• At least 1 year of Landscaping Crew Leader experience
• DDOT Medical Card (preferred; ability to pass a medical exam including drug test)
• MDARD Pesticide licenses (preferred; willingness to maintain and add licenses)
• Irrigation troubleshooting and repair experience (preferred)
• Hardscapes experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead and manage 2-5 team members, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in tasks such as landscape maintenance, installation, irrigation, seasonal color, and chemical applications.
