The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include weed control, trimming, watering, equipment operation, and collaboration with the team while adhering to HRCR policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure landscapes are well-tended and attractive, enhancing the resort’s curb appeal.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Weed control, planting, irrigation inspection, debris removal, and maintaining clean outdoor spaces.
• Report maintenance issues to Supervisor and assist with improvements as approved.

Job Summary:

The Landscaping attendant is responsible for maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall appearance of Hart Ranch Camping Resort's landscaped areas. This position performs lawn care, irrigation maintenance, planting, debris removal, and seasonal groundskeeping activities to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for members and guests. Successful candidates are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in enhancing the resort's curb appeal and outdoor spaces.

Overall Responsibilities of the Landscaping Attendant:

• The landscaping attendant will ensure that the landscape grounds areas are kept looking well-tended and attractive to help make the resort the kind of place Members and guests can't wait to return to.
• Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
• Works well with other team members.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort (HRCR) Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Attendant Will:

• Ensure lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treat weeds for weed control, rake leaves, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut down and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
• Inspect irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly, repair as needed.
• Pick up trash/debris from common areas, streets, and flower beds on an as needed basis.
• Keep sidewalks and roadways free from debris, gum, snow, ice, etc.?
• Empties common area trash containers as needed.
• Ensure HRCR grounds are presentable at all times and adhere to HRCR curb appeal standards.
• Report all maintenance issues and concerns identified while performing daily duties to Supervisor.
• Arrange flower beds by planting flowers and watering as weather allows.?
• Recommend improvements to landscaping and implement as approved.?
• Water all areas not accessible to the automatic sprinkler system.?
• Operate lawn mowers, tractors, snow equipment, trucks, salt spreaders, power tools, etc.?

Requirements

• M inimum of 18 years of age
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed
• Hold a valid state driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
