This role requires a Driver's license and may require a Commercial Driver's License (Chauffeur's license / For Hire License). The starting pay is $17 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and certifications/licenses.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare landscape trucks for the day: load gas cans, mowers, and equipment; secure all items; maintain and use personal protective equipment; operate vehicles safely following traffic laws.
2. Perform landscape maintenance: operate equipment safely, mow turf, edge grass, blow leaves, prune shrubs and trees, clear debris, and weed as needed. Clean sites and monitor for trash and debris.
3. Plantings and flower installation: prepare soil, plant properly considering depth and spacing, apply mulch, water, and edge beds.
4. Maintain equipment: unload, wash, change blades and oil, clean filters, grease, and conduct vehicle inspections.
5. Other duties as assigned.
6. Perform heavy lifting and pushing of landscaping materials and equipment safely.
7. Operate hand and power tools, including saws and cutters.
8. Leverage up to 80 lbs. of equipment over curbs.
9. Lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds.
10. Bend, stoop, and twist throughout the day; kneel for extended periods.
11. Lift branches and limbs.
12. Use tools such as pruners, saws, and blowers.
13. Walk up to 10 miles daily on uneven terrain, often carrying or pushing equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Experience in lawn care is helpful.
• Ability to operate lawn machinery and vehicles, with or without trailers.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and sunlight.
• Long work hours, potentially exceeding 12 hours per day.
• Ability to tolerate loud noise levels, with ear protection if needed.
