University Operations at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking a Landscaper I to help maintain campus grounds. You will perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and weed management in assigned zones while operating basic hand tools and equipment.

The role includes reporting pest issues and assisting with general upkeep across the campus. Shaping the landscape as part of a large university team, you will also perform light hauling, watering in non-irrigated areas, and

• Completion of 9th grade or equivalent is required.
• Valid class E driver’s license is required.
• Health assessment must be completed and passed per UCF policy.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, prune, mulch, and weed landscape beds in assigned zones.

• Identify pest or disease issues and report per IPM plan.
• Support campus upkeep: raking, trash collection, and related tasks.

This role is responsible for a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, with responsibilities subject to change based on operational needs. **Responsibilities:*** Perform landscape maintenance duties including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and hand weeding of landscape beds in assigned zones.* Operates hand tools and landscaping equipment as needed.* Identifies and reports pest or disease issues in accordance with the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan.* Support general campus upkeep, including raking, trash collection and removal, and other related activities.* Assist with special tasks such as hauling fill dirt and debris, and watering trees and turf in non-irrigated areas.* Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking fluid levels; report equipment repair needs to the supervisor. **Minimum Qualifications**:Completion of 9th grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla.
