Job summary

Medical Center SE Texas Port Arthur is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces around the hospital campus. Under the Plant Operations Director, you will mow lawns, weed flowerbeds, trim around walkways and walls, plant and prune shrubs, and keep parking areas clean and safe.

You will operate landscaping equipment and a hospital vehicle, paint and repair fences and walkways as needed, and ensure the grounds are neat and welcoming for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with some trade school or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write English and follow oral and written instructions.
• Previous grounds keeping experience preferred.
• If driving a company vehicle, (No moving violations within the last three years and no previous DUI charges.)

Cleans trash from hospital grounds, parking lots, ditches and culverts. Paints and repairs fences and walkways. Operates machinery and company vehicle.
