Job summary

Bella Ridge Golf Club in Johnstown, CO is seeking a dedicated Landscaper to join Troon’s hospitality-driven team. You will care for turf, trees, shrubs, bedding plants and flowers, and assist on the golf course from time to time.

The ideal candidate has minimal instruction, enjoys learning, and commits to safe work practices. A valid driver's license is required, and healthcare, 401(k) and PTO benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
• Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
• Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
• Prunes and trims trees and shrub.
• Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Clubhouse landscaper will also be used on the golf course from time to time.

Bella Ridge Golf Club, located in Johnstown, CO, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Landscaper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Provides for the care and maintenance of the turf area, ornamental trees, shrubs, bedding plants, and flowers.

• Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.


• Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.


• Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.


• Prunes and trims trees and shrub.


• Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.

• Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls; talks or hears. Occasionally sits, climbs and balances, tastes or smells. Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.


• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally experiences vibration.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Valid Driver’s License
