Basic Requirements

General Objectives

The Landscaper assists with maintaining the outdoor campus by performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, weed-eating, fertilizing, pruning, watering, and picking up litter.

Qualifications

• Works well with people to complete projects.
• Able to work outdoors year-round.

Specific Responsibilities

• Mow and trim all lawns on campus, including open fields and pond areas.
• Prune trees each fall and winter, including those around buildings and in fields; prune shrubs as needed throughout the year.
• Water lawns and plants, especially in areas without sprinkler systems.
• Landscape areas as requested, maintaining landscapes including weed control in grass areas and flowerbeds.
• Fertilize lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds as needed.
• Pick up trash from buildings and around campus during designated times.
• Sand campus entrances during icy or wintry weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Regular hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexible hours as needed.

Work Location

This position is based on the main campus at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
