Job summary

Duran Golf Club in Viera, FL is seeking a full-time Landscape & Turf Maintenance Operator to join our dedicated maintenance team. You will operate mowing equipment and perform routine turf care to support high-quality course conditions.

This hands-on role offers outdoor work and opportunities to develop turf management skills in a premier golf facility. Strong teamwork and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Physical tasks including bending, stooping, lifting 50–75 lbs in outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Golf course maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowing equipment to maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, approaches, and other course grounds.
• Repair ball marks and fill divots to support quality playing surfaces.
• Change cup locations and reposition tee markers.
• Rake and groom sand bunkers to ensure consistent conditions.
• Maintain cart paths, curbs, parking areas, and clubhouse surroundings.
• Trim vegetation around irrigation components and markers.
• Assist with turf care practices including topdressing and verti-cutting.
• Remove debris and litter to keep the property clean and welcoming.
• Set up and relocate ropes, stakes, signs, and other course accessories.
• Support course presentation through landscape and grounds maintenance.

Duran Golf Club, a subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons, Inc.,is hiring a full-time Landscape & Turf Maintenance Operatorto be part of a dedicated team responsible for the care of one of the area’s top golf courses. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant outdoor environment while developing specialized skills in turf management and landscaping. It’s a hands‑on position that plays a key role in delivering the high-quality course conditions golfers expect from a premier facility.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday 5:30am-2:30pm
• Rotating weekend schedule(Friday-Sunday)
  • Friday: 5:30am-11:30am
  • Saturday & Sunday: 5:30am-8:30am

Responsibilities

• Operate mowing equipment to maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, approaches, and other course grounds

• Support overall course presentation through landscape and grounds maintenance activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50–75 lbs in various outdoor conditions
• Strong communication skills with a positive and professional approach when interacting with colleagues, guests, and management
• Previous experience in golf course maintenance is a plus, but not mandatory
• Understanding of workplace hazards and adherence to safety protocols
• Strong ability to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment
