Wild Spring Dunes seeks Grounds Crew Members to shape and maintain a premier golf experience. You’ll operate and maintain equipment, mow turf, assist irrigation, and perform general landscape tasks to bring the course to life.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols for a safe work environment.
• Previous landscaping/grounds maintenance or equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate well with the team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve basic problems.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain course equipment, including tractors and mowing machines.
• Mow and maintain turfgrass areas: greens, fairways, roughs.
• Assist with irrigation repairs and watering.
• Perform tree trimming, debris removal, and landscape maintenance.
• Plant trees, grass, flowers, and vegetables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment.
• Perform hand labor tasks (shoveling, raking, hoeing).
• Daily grounds maintenance tasks under Course and Grounds team.

The next, you’re watering by hand to keep dust down or prepping greens for their first cut. About Wild Spring Dunes

Wild Spring Dunes will be a public golf resort and refuge with world‑class golf, accommodations, and homesites. Two courses are routed with plans established for a short course and practice center.

Set on over 2,400 sandy, secluded acres, here you will find dramatic elevation changes that highlight four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest, open, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and steep ravines carved by spring‑fed creeks that crawl through the secluded site. Wild Spring Dunes is an escape, a destination, a place to come together in community – a home for golf and wilderness lovers alike.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain equipment, including tractors, skid steers, and various mowing machinery
• Mow and maintain all turfgrass areas, including greens, fairways, and roughs
• Assist with irrigation repairs, services, and watering
• Perform tree trimming, debris removal, and general landscape maintenance
• Plant and cultivate trees, grass, flowers, and vegetables as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all golf course equipment
• Complete extensive hand labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, hoeing, etc.
• Perform daily grounds maintenance tasks under the Course and Grounds team

What You Bring

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Willingness to follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for staff and golfers
• Ability to communicate well with the team
• Previous experience with landscaping, grounds maintenance, or operating equipment is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve basic problems

Working Conditions

• Work hours vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Work hours change based on season and weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Exposure to fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals

This is steady work with a new project. You'll learn skills that transfer to other outdoor maintenance jobs, and you'll see the results of your work every day. The job requires lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with help. You'll need to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for long periods. Don't worry if you don't have all the preferred experience—we can train the right person.
