Landscape Technician (Stormwater)

The Landscape Technician (Stormwater) is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This role involves routine landscape maintenance, light repairs of stormwater systems, equipment operation, and regional travel to client sites.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday-Friday, overtime opportunities)

Regional Travel: Required, typically 10‑15 days per month (lodging and $55 per diem on travel days)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other assets)
• Perform mowing, weed‑trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment
• Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck; typically 10‑15 days per month on weekdays

What We’re Looking For

• 1‑2+ years of experience with manual labor; outdoor experience preferred
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally; 10‑15 days per month is typical
• Age 21 or older to meet DOT interstate transportation requirements
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation
• Pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening (drug‑free workplace)
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and work in varied weather conditions
