Job summary
BrightView Landscapes in Oregon is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial equipment safely, and assist with plant material and landscape features.
Duties include mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, weeding, and basic preventive equipment care. Maintain a polite, responsive demeanor with guests and customers and report unsafe conditions to
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to lift/carry 40 lbs (mulch, plants, etc.).
- Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Cut turf with power mowers and edge/trimming tools.
- Prune shrubs/low trees; remove damaged branches.
- Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
- Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
- Pick up trash; blow leaves; mulch leaves.
- Perform weeding by hand or with tools.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
- Maintain a polite, responsive demeanor with guests.
