Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for diverse properties. You will perform basic landscaping tasks under supervision and assist with equipment operation and plant material care.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, bed planting, trash removal, and preventative maintenance. Candidates must be 18+, dependable, and certified on level 1 equipment. Flex hours may be required; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas tools.
• Prune shrubs/low trees to shape growth or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Collect trash, blow leaves, mulch organic matter.
• Weed by hand or with hoes; basic equipment maintenance.
• Respect safety and report unsafe conditions.
