Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Gardena, CA is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. Under supervision, you will perform basic landscaping tasks and assist with operating commercial-grade equipment.

You will prune shrubs, plant and maintain beds, trim, edge, and help keep the site clean and safe. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge, operate gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
