Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a CLS Landscape Technician to maintain client turf and grounds. This seasonal role involves operating landscape vehicles and equipment, mowing and edging lawns, and caring for plants and shrubs to keep outdoor spaces visually appealing.

Candidates should be 18+, ready for safety training, and able to complete the CDP materials and state applicator licenses as required. Daily work is on-site with standard safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Position Overview

The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.
