Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a CLS Landscape Technician for seasonal grounds maintenance, operating landscaping equipment and performing routine lawn care at Langley AFB, VA. On-site position with immediate hiring and compensation at $20.00+ per hour depending on licenses.

This role requires safety training, ability to complete the CDP books, and the potential to obtain state applicator licenses. Benefits are provided per company policy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to work in the field.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Position Overview

The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

• Operate, clean, and maintain various vehicles and landscape equipment.
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns.
• Plant and care for plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Report to the supervisor regularly.
