Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a CLS Landscape Technician for on-site work in Tampa, FL. This seasonal role focuses on maintaining client turf and landscape projects with a range of tools and equipment to keep outdoor spaces attractive.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, mowing and edging lawns, and planting and caring for vegetation. The role requires safety training, licensing readiness, and the ability to complete Davey’s CDP materials during employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Position Overview

The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.
