Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a CLS Landscape Technician for seasonal field work in Jacksonville, FL. You will maintain client turf and landscapes, operate landscape equipment, and support projects with attention to safety and quality.

This role is outdoors with daily outdoor oversight and opportunities for growth through Davey’s training programs and benefits across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to work in the field.
• Must complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Must complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Must acquire applicator licenses as required by state.

Position Overview

The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

• Plant and care for plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Report to the supervisor regularly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
• Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements
• Ability to operate power equipment
